Editorial policy
Curious Leisure Guide aims to make useful, readable material about free time. We distinguish explanation from opinion, take care with factual claims and correct published errors clearly.
Accuracy and care
We check names, terms and factual details before publication and write within the limits of what can be established. We avoid unsupported claims, invented examples presented as real, and advice that requires professional judgement or local rules to be safe. Readers can contact us with a specific correction; we review it and update the text when warranted.
Independence and labels
Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial relationship. Any paid, sponsored or partner material we accept will be identified clearly where it appears, so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial coverage. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage.
Images and illustrations
Images should help readers understand the subject rather than imply evidence that is not there. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when we use them, we label them as illustrations and do not present them as documentary photographs or records of real events.
Leisure need not come with a price tag
We look for pleasure in time, curiosity and resourcefulness, not in buying more. The best plan may begin with what is already close at hand.
