We welcome pitches from writers and makers with a clear, original idea about low-cost leisure, creative use of familiar materials, shared pastimes or thoughtful outings. Proposals are sent through the Contact page.

What makes a good pitch

Tell us the central question, who the piece is for and what a reader will understand or be able to consider afterward. Strong pitches are specific, adaptable and useful without relying on expensive purchases, unverified claims or first-hand testing that has not taken place. We are interested in explainers, comparisons, background pieces, myth checks and occasion-based planning.

A clear and original approach

Please propose work that is your own and say if the idea has appeared elsewhere or is under consideration by another outlet. Keep the scope manageable, distinguish personal experience from general guidance, and note any relevant commercial connection. Do not send a complete draft unless we have requested one.

Use the Contact page, choose the editorial option and include a working title, short outline and a little context about your approach. We cannot promise a response time or publication, but each proposal should make its subject and reader value easy to see.
